A classic journey of two L.A. women who break out of rehab and take to the American Highway on their motorcycles in search of the legendary chopper ridden by Peter Fonda in "Easy Rider". Jane is a poet/writer who lives in her electric Winnebago with her strung-out boyfriend Fast Eddie . She has a heroin problem and one night she overdoses, ending up in rehab. Here she meets Will, a painter who lives in a down town loft, constantly disappointed and secluded from the world, and who ended up in rehab after having crashed her Harley. The two immediately bond and escape from the clinic to begin the 1080-mile trek across the scenic landscape of the open road in search of their Holy Grail. Vowing to stay off drugs until they reach their destination. The journey becomes a quest of self discovery and rebirth, and a test of their resolve and friendship.
