Better Than I Expected - Message in a Bottle review by CP Customer
I'm not normally one for romantic films but a friend recommended this to me so thought I'd give it a go and was pleased that I did. Fine performances from the leads Costner and Penn and even a supporting role featuring Robbie Coltrane (rubbish american accent though). If you enjoyed films such as Terms Of Endearment or The English Patient you'll like this. Good score too.

A sweet, gentle romance - Message in a Bottle review by CP Customer
If you're the sentimental type you'll like this. A very sweet romantic story that will have you smiling indulgently and reaching for the tissues. A divorced woman and widowed man get together under not entirely honest conditions, and Costner and Wright Penn do a fine job in characterising the leads. Paul Newman plays a grizzly old guy with finesse. If you're looking for thrills and action, you might find this a bit of a drag, but if you want a snuggle on the sofa with a loved one, then this is one to rent.
