- B-movie legend Christopher Lambert stars in this update of Countess Bathory, a Hungarian legend and root of the vampire myth, for the modern horror age. While exploring the wilds of the Carpathian Mountains, three young carefree Americans pick up an attractive stranger, Elizabeth. Keith is a novelist researching the legend of the Blood Countess, and falls for Elizabeth as the group encounters a supernatural series of events that puts them all in mortal danger. As the fast-paced, horrifying action accelerates, the pieces of an ancient puzzle begin to fall into place.
