Midnight Runners (2017)

Korean comedy thriller directed by Joo-hwan Kim and starring Seo-joon Park and Ha-neul Kang. Two new recruits at the Seoul police academy, Ki-joon (Park) and Hee-yeol (Kang), form a bond through friendly competition in their training exercises. Years into their training and having become close friends, Ki-joon and Hee-yeol are spending leisure time in the clubs of Gangnam when they see a young woman kidnapped and driven away in a black van. Jumping into action, the pair use their new skills to track down the woman and her captors. However, the friends soon run into trouble as their efforts cause them to encroach on the territory of a ruthless Chinese-Korean organ trafficking gang.
