This is the dramatic account of the brave mission that took place on the first day of the ground war. An eight-man Special Forces unit (Green Berets) is operating behind enemy lines deep inside Iraq. They are keeping a watch on Highway 7, a key location and reporting back military movements when their position is discovered and they are put in jeopardy. They are caught in a death trap surrounded by Iraqi troops. In deep trouble and with only limited ammunition, they rely on air support for their survival. F-16 fighter jets respond, but they are carrying cluster bombs. If they drop the bombs too close they will kill their comrades.
