Documentary centred on Egyptian-Canadian journalist Mohamed Fahmy and his imprisonment in Cairo, Egypt. After Fahmy took up a new position in Egypt in September 2013 working for Al Jazeera English, he was arrested alongside two of his colleagues only a few months later in December. Following an accusation of conspiring with a terrorist organisation and creating false news, he spent 438 days incarcerated in Cairo's maximum security facility in Tora. What follows is a political campaign fought not only by Fahmy, but his now-wife Marwa Omara and famous human rights lawyer Amal Clooney to convince the Cairo Criminal Court of his innocence. Now, Fahmy dedicates his life to the advocation of those who are wrongfully imprisoned.
