A newly sober single mom tries to pull her life together in Napa Valley while dealing with her wayward mother...Christy (Anna Faris) has second thoughts about law school after a tough first day, and Bonnie (Allison Janney) is plagued by an upsetting dream...Bonnie pushes Christy to mend her relationship with Violet (Sadie Calvano), and Adam (William Fichtner) prepares for the grand opening of his bar...In "Big Floor Pillows and a Ball of Fire", Adam's best friend Mitch (Bradley Whitford) is back. Bonnie and Christy are not happy, but give him a chance to apologize and make amends for his actions during his last visit...
