Monstrous fun! - Monsters, Inc. review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
28/09/2006

Pixar have done it again! Great animation, matched with superb vocal casting and what you have is a very enjoyable family film that's simply just....fun, and you cannot say that about too many films these days now, can you to be honest?

The film centers around Mikey and his buddy who work for a company that supply energy to the Monsters city, but that can only be charged up by the screams of the kids of whos'e closets they haunt. Normally the world of the humans and the kids are kept seperate by doors that open into the inside of the closet, but then a twist of fate insures that a little girl makes her way back into the monsters world and now Mikey and pal, have the problem of keeping her prescence a secret and get her back to her world, whilst trying to keep her out of the clutches of an evil work colleague.

There are some great scenes and the animation is superb, every hair on Mike for one, is individually drawn, so when he moves, ALL the hair does! Match this with some very interesting extras on the disc and this is a film that is most definitely worth a watch...or as we did, watched twice before sending it back!

If you do you may spot moments that you missed before, but fear not, you will enjoy it as much the second time around, heck, maybe even more!
