- Monty Python’s Flying Circus is a British comedy sketch show created by the Monty Python crew. The series stars John Cleese, Eric Idle, Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam as they star in a series of surreal sketches written by them as well. The series looks at ordinary aspects of modern living but puts a surreal spin in them to find comedy in them. The series lampoons British society as well as praises general stupidity and the inherent comedy in it.
