The Bribery Case
Rodolfo Cowardino is behind all shady bribery business in town, from construction to greyhound racing...at one point even the incorruptible TIA seems to be at risk. When Mr. L. put Mort and Phil on the case, they find corruption even in the most innocent situations.
Witness for the ProsecutionA bellboy is the only witness of the activities of a dangerous terrorist. Convinced that the activist will try to kill him, Mr. L deploys Mort and Phil to protect the bell-boy and try to arrest the bad guy when he shows up. Unfortunately, the bell-boy find the agents protection can be more dangerous than the terrorist...

In a happy turn of events, Mort and Phil capture the notorious thief Billy Horrendous. Once locked up, no one can persuade him to disclose the whereabouts of his loot.
