- Autumn 1989. In order to be able to monitor the allegedly left-wing political infiltration of the Zurich theater scene, the bold and polite police officer Viktor Schuler (Philippe Graber) is smuggled into the Zurich theater as an extra. Initially, everything seems suspicious to him here. But then he falls in love with an actress during rehearsals for William Shakespeare's "What You Want". And that leaves far more than just his own emotional life turbulent.
