This documentary review charts the entire career of 'Mott the Hoople' from their roots in the 1960's midlands music scene to the break up of the band when Ian Hunter left in 1975. Now, 40 years on from their first incarnation, the classic line-up are back, playing new gigs and revitalising their profile to its highest level since their mid-1970's glory days. This film features rare footage of Mott, archive interviews plus new contributions from Morgan Fisher, mega-fan Mick Jones from the Clash, former fan-club president Kris Needs, Mott producers Mick Glossop and Tony Platt, and numerous others.
