- Mount Pleasant is a British comedy series about a woman living in a small town and the many friends and family that populate her life and at times complicate it. The series follows Lisa (Sally Lindsay), a young woman living her life in a small town and trying to find love and other things. The series follows her through her life's many issues from her relationships to her family problems, something caused by their constant interference in her life and relationships.
