- Synopsis:
All five episodes from the tenth series of the BBC drama created by Jimmy McGovern. Each episode tells a selfcontained contemporary story in which the characters have reached a turning point in their lives and are trying to move on.
1. By Any Other Name
A cleaner at a university finds himself mistaken for someone else and ends up masquerading as a lecturer. He discovers a newfound confidence, but keeping up the subterfuge is hard work.
2. Beaten
A teacher is heading for a breakdown thanks to an impossible workload and an unruly pupil, and is forced to make a life-changing decision.
3. IsabelleA struggling single-mother reconnects with the father of her nine-year-old daughter, triggering a bitter custody battle.
4. A Walk in My Shoes
In an attempt to reconcile with her family, a former homeless addict volunteers at the local shelter and turns her life around.
5. Frozen
