The day starts off badly when the bus breaks down and Mr Harvey's wallet containing a picture of his wife is stolen and the photo is defaced. When he launches into a ferocious verbal attack on Helen, a troubled teen and the very likely culprit, it is clear that Mr Harvey has been carrying the baggage of his dead wife for far too long. Meanwhile Miss Davies and Mr Cole try to control the unruly group, but tensions are growing among the students, especially between Phil (Daniel Bliss), an angry graffiti artist, and Mo (Joshua Malin), a devout Muslim, who are forced to confront their religious differences in the Cathedral. After a physical fight and a stint in a locked choir room closet, Phil must question why he is so offended by Mo's faith. But the students are not the only ones who learn valuable lessons that day.
