Singer Frederica Brown is saved from an overzealous admirer by a distinguished man, but soon realizes that this was a set-up to enable him to meet her. The man introduces himself as "Mr. Imperium" who works in the government and after he rents the room next to hers, she learns that he is the famous playboy Prince Alexis, heir to a European throne. Released in 1951, with original songs by Harold Arlen and Dorothy Fields, the movie was praised for its splendid sound recording and fine set decoration.
