Synopsis:: Inspector Giridhari Lal (Ajit) is an upstanding lawman who takes care of his goofy younger brother, Natwarlal (Amitabh Bachchan). However, when Giridhari becomes a nuisance to a seedy group of criminals, they decide to set him up and get him arrested on phony extortion charges. Natwarlal then decides to take revenge on the men who took down his beloved brother, so he concocts an intimidating alter ego and begins ingratiating his way up through the criminal ranks.
