Rent Mr Rose (1967 - 1968)

Mr. Rose is a classic British drama series about a retired police officers and the jobs he gets roped into doing as a private investigator, a position he isn’t at all interested in. The series follows Charles Rose (William Mervyn), an ex police officer who is only interested in peace and quiet and the time to write him memoirs, however he finds himself dragged into investigations given to him by people he used to know making him a lone investigator as he tries to help the people that hired him and track down what they tell him to.
