- Mr Selfridge is a British drama series about a man who had the nerve to establish his very own department store in London and make it bigger and better than anything anyone had seen before. The series follows real life American Harry Selfridge, a larger than life character who demands excellence from those around him. The series follows the trials that emerge when he decides to start his own department store in the middle of London and go up against his many competitors. With something to prove to his critics and to himself he puts his all into this new endeavour.
