- Synopsis:
- "Mrs. Thursday" is a British comedy series about a lower class cleaning lady who upon the death of her employer finds she has inherited his entire fortune, something that changes her life forever. The series follows Alice Thursday (Kathleen Harrison) as she is shocked to discover her new fortune, she moves into her new Mayfair mansion and thanks to her cockney attitude to things doesn’t quite fit in at the house, especially with her new butler Richard (Hugh Manning), a man who becomes her closest confidant.
