Murder, Crime and Punishment in Derby (2005)

This video will educate, entertain, and shock most viewers: as this tour of Derby's Streets brings them to the actual sites of Murders, Robberies and Executions. The Streets where we now go about our daily business, hold many gruesome memories. Crowds sometimes larger than are now drawn to Pride Park, gathered to witness public Executions, which were commonplace in Derby until 1907, for crimes as insignificant as setting fire to a haystack. After watching this film the Streets of Derby will take on a different perspective as you will be able to gaze in awe at some of the landmarks of the horrors of yesteryears justice.
