Facing a daunting array of decisions, Joyce confronts her situation with humour and fierce diligence. With the help of a cast of endearing and sometimes infuriating characters including her mother, her best friend Herb (James Sutorius) and her co-worker Eve (Sara Botsford), she takes control of her situation, turning her pain into laughter and her fears into knowledge.
