Oliver 'Oily' Steeds: myth-buster, explorer and investigative reporter, is searching out unanswered questions about some of the world's most strange and controversial mysteries of all time. Join him as he travels around the globe looking for hard evidence and trying to uncover fact from fiction, myth from reality. Along the way, he investigates the Ark of the Covenant, the most important religious artifact in the world, the Nazca Lines in the Peruvian desert, the lost city of Atlantis, Devil's Island, the notorious prison complex and El Dorado the city of gold, taking him from Europe to Africa and South America. Oily doesn't just talk to the theorist experts, he puts their controversial beliefs to the test, and he is willing to go to any lengths to find validity in their claims. He employs hidden cameras, holds clandestine meetings with smugglers, treks to remote locations to see relics, takes part in dangerous and potentially illegal activities and, generally throws himself headlong into the native rituals to get the real story and weed out the myths. - Actors:
