Discovery Channel takes 'survival of the fittest' to the next level in 'Naked and Afraid', where each episode sees one man and one woman left stranded in one of the world's most remote and inhospitable areas with no food, water, shelter...or clothes. Exposed to the elements, and to each other, a pair of complete strangers must work together to survive on their own for a full 21 days. With nothing but one personal item each, and in the knowledge that the only prize on offer is their pride and a sense of accomplishment, these brave adventurers must get acquainted with each other and their new surroundings very quickly if they are to survive and thrive in the most challenging of conditions. From the swamps of Louisiana to the jungles of Costa Rica, confronting the demands of these formidable environments and safely making it to the extraction point will take all the strength and determination these survivalists can muster.
