- Synopsis:
- The National Theatre gives a live performance of William Shakespeare's tragedy. Adrian Lester plays the title character,a newly-appointed military leader whose jealous ensign Iago (Rory Kinnear) convinces Othello that the man he promoted to lieutenant is having an affair with his wife. Iago's deceitful act ultimately has disastrous consequences for all those involved.
