- Synopsis:
- Live performance of Alan Bennett's comedy play at the National Theatre. Frances de la Tour stars in the lead role as one-time fashion model Dorothy Stacpoole,who is now poor and lonely in her old age and is considering what to do with her run-down stately dwelling. Her sister encourages her to pass the property onto the National Trust but Dorothy has different ideas that could enable her to make some money including turning her home into a set for porn films.
