- Synopsis:
Naples, fifties. A songwriter who lives with a large family in a miserable cataclysm is evicted and goes with his family on the streets, pushing Barberia's piano to which they are hanging on songs. A wind blows away the sheets and on the screen follow the episodes that form the subject of the songs. From the arrival of the Moors in 1300 until the Second World War. They go on the screen French and Spanish, English and American: it seems that nothing has changed through many centuries of history for Naples and the Neapolitans. Without losing hope, the singer continues his journey: before leaving the street, he welcomes in his family a young singer in love with the older daughter.
