Independent drama set in Dakota about a writer, Kent (Christopher Sweeney), who is tasked with assembling the notes of a Native American elder into a book. Kent receives a phone call from Dan (Dave Bald Eagle)'s granddaughter Wenonah (Roseanne Supernault) requesting him to visit and meet with her grandfather. When Kent arrives he struggles to connect with the people and lacks belief in his ability as a writer to capture the essence of Dan's voice. However, when Kent's truck breaks down and he is forced into a road trip with Dan and Grover (Richard Ray Whitman) he comes to appreciate the situation in a more profound way.
