Canadian drama written and directed by Kathleen Hepburn. The film follows Judy (Shirley Henderson), a middle-aged woman living with her husband Ed (Nicholas Campbell) and her 18-year-old son Jamie (Théodore Pellerin) in their lakeside home in British Columbia. Suffering from advanced Parkinson's disease, Judy is determined to remain independent and in control of her life. Meanwhile, as Jamie struggles to come to terms with his sexuality, he is sent to the tough oil fields of Alberta to find work.
