When a young boy, Bastian, opens the pages of Neverending Story, he enters the world of Fantasia - a wondrous magical world, brought to life by strange creatures and interesting characters. Sadly, Fantasia is dying. A terrible force, The Nothing, is threatening to destroy it all. The Childlike Empress, the ruler of Fantasia, is also dying - crippled by the illness that plagues her land. The inhabitants' only hope is to send their most esteemed warrior to find a cure.
