The famous New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is also the magnificent and excellent prelude to the new Classical Year in 2020. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra presents a lively program in the festive Golden Hall of the Vienna Music Association, which is famous for its sound. For the first time, the Latvian conductor Andris Nelsons, one of the the best conductors in the world and also known as the head of the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Vienna Philharmonic, with whom he has been closely associated for many years.The entertaining program includes well-known and discoverable waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss father and son, Carl Michael Ziehrer, Franz von Suppé, Hans Christian Lumbye and other composers - and for the first time ever, music by Ludwig van Beethoven, whose 250th birthday celebrates the Classical World 2020, can be heard at a New Year's concert.
