Newcastle United's return to the Premier League proved that they were back where they belonged - competing with England's elite. Finishing the season in a respectable 12th position, it was a campaign packed full of drama and excitement. Superb away victories at The Emirates and Goodison Park were matched by thumping home victories over Aston Villa, West Ham and memorably, Sunderland. And who can forget the heart-stopping events of the day Arsenal visited Tyneside in what has been dubbed the 'greatest comeback' of the Premier League era. Goals came from all quarters, the Magpies were the second highest home scorers in the League, and with committed performances all over the pitch, and not without that vital commodity of class too, United unquestionably demonstrated that they could mix it with the best. - Actors:
