- Synopsis:
- The Newsroom is an American drama series about the behind the scenes workings of a cable news show and its abrasive lead anchor. The series follows Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels), the lead anchor of Atlantis Cable News, a difficult man who finds himself reinventing himself when his ex-girlfriend and new producer MacKenzie MacHale (Emily Mortimer) on the show decides to change the way the news is done. Together they will reinvigorate a news show and the crew that follows them.
