- Peter Foster is a young man with a difficult family. Depressed and frustrated with his lot, he decides to start a course of video-therapy with his domineering parents. At the clinic he comes across some videotapes belonging to a troubled Armenian family who, twenty years earlier, gave up their infant son to a foster home. Seizing the opportunity, Peter decides to present himself as their long lost son and play out a new role in his life...
