How to overcome the normal cultural clash with humor, bite and a lot of training: a true story. A small town in the far north accepts over 3000 refugees from Somalia. The black faces determine the cityscape, the Swedes get nervous. The city center is already known as "Little Mogadishu". Now it is enough for Patrik, the local journalist and Hansdampf in all streets. He looks for a solution at the after-work beer, but the drinking buddies prefer to talk about sports. This sparked the idea: Somalis should do Swedish sport! International understanding à la 'Cool Runnings': Patrik founds the first Somali bandy ice hockey team, with men who have never known temperatures below 20 degrees. The goal is bold: the World Cup in Russia in 6 months! The film accompanies the player, coach and environment during training and in their free time. The documentary comedy tells with great warmth about black ice, overcoming gravity and unlikely friendships. It does not raise the index finger but is a wonderful, true episode that inspires these days. A film with lots of laughter and tears: Feelgood cinema with class - and beer.
