Night Shapes (1999)

Set in contemporary Berlin, this unrelenting drama traces the nocturnal journeys of three characters from different walks of life making their way through the urban jungle. A homeless woman dreams of a room for the night; a farmworker yearns for love in the red-light district; and an aging businessman pairs up with a young Angolan refugee.
