Rose is spending her holidays at a nursing home where her mother is deep in the clutches of Alzheimer's. Despite her own tragic cucrumstances, Rose shows genuine compassion toward others; whether it's abandoned mysterious patient across the hall, or the desperate fiancee, Nina who broke her engagement to her beloved Mike because of his suffocating jealousy.
