Katherine (Zawe Ashton) is a civil servant working on strategies to help immigrants. When public sector cuts force her to move from London to a satellite office in Northampton, she soon finds that she too feels like a stranger in a strange land...Martine (Sian Brooke), the Minister's aide, arrives from London putting the team under pressure. Katherine combines protecting Danny (Sacha Dhawan) from himself and actually getting some work done. Jenny (Sophie Rundle) receives some bad news and Martine takes a shine to Anthony (Tom Weston-Jones)...A week after the presentation to the minister (Nicholas Gleaves), the staff await news of their fate.
