Just when they said that vibrant British music was finished, a bunch of surly Mancunians arrived on the scene, dominating the charts, grabbing headlines and causing chaos at live venues. The Gallagher brothers, along with their fellow band members, were the musical phenomenon of the 90s, and are still hogging the limelight today. This is their story... the sex, the drugs and a generous helping of rock 'n' roll! "Oasis - Sibling Rivalry" charts the band's rise from the council estates of their home city to the stadium arenas of the world. Filmed in London and Manchester, this documentary includes interviews with those closest to Oasis. These include Clint Boon from the Inspiral Carpets (for whom Noel used to roadie), official biographer Paolo Hewitt, Liam's best friend Nigel Stewart, chief engineer on Be Here Now Paul Walton, NME writer and early supporter of Oasis Dan Martin, the tribute band 'Wonderwall', BBC Radio Manchester DJ and local champion of the band Justin Moorehouse amongst others. Furthermore, the film contains rare footage of Oasis, interviews with Noel Gallagher, previously unseen photographs and much, much more.
