- Synopsis:
- The story where innocence and evil collide on a dangerous road trip to nowhere. Stressed-out single mother Senga (Madeleine Stowe) thinks her eyes are playing tricks on her when she begins to see strangely unsettling sights alongside a dark and desolate highway. But it's all a prelude to the surreal nightmare that begins when her rebellious young daughter (Mischa Barton) disappears with a free-spirited hitchhiker (Bijou Phillips). Soon, Senga is forced into a frantic search among the mysterious characters who haunt the secluded diners and creepy truck stops of the rain-soaked interstate.
