- The Vietnam war is raging, and Buck McGriff (Willem Dafoe) and Albaby Perkins (Gregory Hines) have unappreciated positions as plainclothes military policemen stationed in Saigon. When they're sent to investigate the brutal murder of a prostitute, they're thrust into the seedy underworld of a country under siege. But things go from bad to worse when they discover that the most likely suspect is a high-ranking American officer.
