- Synopsis:
- An inmate (Louis Gossett Jr.) with a reputation for maintaining the peace in a maximum-security prison finds his own relative tranquility shattered when he discovers that a new prisoner (Blair Underwood) is his long-lost son. When Gossett is released from prison, he rejoins society as a car mechanic, but his new life goes on the line when Underwood, recently freed, is ordered to live with him and soon falls back in with his old criminal buddies.
