- Synopsis:
Tony Carpenter (Dennis Waterman) is back in the third and final series of Bob Larbey's 'On The Up'. Tony's humble beginnings in the East End of London are long gone and as far as his wife's concerned good riddance too! Having made his fortune from the executive car-hire business, he finds money can't solve all life's problems... His daughter hardly speaks to him, the hired-help, Mrs Wembley, Sam and Maggie see him more like a friend and his mum just can't get used to his well-to-do lifestyle. Ever the successful businessman, if only he could apply the same formula to his marriage and family relationships life would be a lot easier...
