Very few people in football can unite fans from different clubs, let alone different countries. But Sir Bobby Robson was one such person. His managerial career spanned nearly forty years with spells at Ipswich, England, Barcelona and Newcastle. Although his football legacy is revered, it is his personal battle against cancer and the creation of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation that will always live on. In 2012 Robbie Elliott and Phil Gray decided to embark on a gruelling 3500 mile charity cycle ride - visiting every football ground where Sir Bobby managed in just 25 days, before finally crossing the Tyne Bridge to an emotional welcome at Sir Bobby's spiritual home: St. James' Park. This epic film combines their struggle to cross Europe by bike with the telling of Sir Bobby's story by those he influenced: Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker, Peter Beardsley, Paul Gascoigne, Peter Shilton and other football legends. Narrated by Tim Healy (Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Benidorm) and Stephen Tompkinson this touching tribute to Sir Bobby Robson will delight everyone interested in football, cycling or the human spirit.
