Synopsis:
College student Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) witnesses the gruesome deaths of two of her friends, just days apart, and realises a disturbing and terrifying connection between the victims; a chilling voicemail message of the sound of their own deaths, received a matter of days before they died. When Beth speaks out, the police think she's delusional - except for Detective Jack Andrews (Ed Burns), whose own sister was killed under strangely similar circumstances. Together, Jack and Beth work feverishly to unravel the mystery behind the ominous calls. As they get closer to the truth, Beth receives her own dreaded one missed call and the two face a race against time to her life.

Ok Horror Flik - One Missed Call review by CP Customer

This is an American version of a Japanese original which we saw last year and they have done a pretty good job with a few improvements and some changes that were not so good, (including the ending). Pretty entertaining but no need cover your eyes at any point.

The Ring Goes Mobile - One Missed Call review by CP Customer

Bland, generic MTV thriller which takes the best elements of The Ring and Final Destination and in 83 minutes makes a total hash of it.

The same special effects are utilised again and again, without any real purpose or style. Panic Room showed these good be an effective tool, but in the hands of this director the experience is lacking.

I thought this was an ok thriller/horror type film, the story kept me interested until the end and I enjoyed it , it is not the best film out there but good enough to watch the once.
