- Synopsis:
- Karen Moone, (Denise Coates), is a depressed painter, searching for inspiration and meaning in her art and in her life, and now struggling to cope with her mother's sudden suicide. She is surrounded by well meaning friends stuck in the insecure world of underground clubs and lost amongst a paranoid haze of loud punk music, one night stands, illicit drugs and strong alcohol. After a late night incident at a rain swept bus stop, Karen wakes in strange run down surroundings, with only the kind-hearted Sam and the mysterious Kyle for company, all painful memories of her seemingly meaningless life, for the time being, forgotten.
