Synopsis:
Outkast went beyond Hip-Hop and hypnotized the whole world with their new style of music. A couple of "Outkasts" from "Hotlanta" (Atlanta), Big Boi and Dre, whose taste and style stand apart from everyone else. Their name speaks for itself, individualism. They're not only rap stars but leaders of a new generation of music. They are the ones who will take Hip-Hop to another level... to the next dimension. Every album they have made, from the soulfulness of "Southernplayalisticdillamuzik" to the exceptionally creative "Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below" have all gone either platinum or double platinum. This documentary will explore the incredible life of OUTKAST. It will intimately engage in their childhood, through their troubled teen years to their rap music, and beyond rap music. It will also feature their incredible journey to survive as young talented black men in a game where so many fail to succeed.
