Double bill of Australian grindhouse horror films. Rod Hardy directs the 1979 vampire horror 'Thirst'. While out getting the papers and milk one morning, Kate Davis (Chantal Contouri) is drugged and abducted by a group of vampires calling themselves The Brotherhood. They tell her she is a descendant of one of their leaders and try to persuade her to join them, thus making them more powerful. Kate tries everything to get away - but it seems The Brotherhood will stop at nothing to initiate Kate into their superior race of new vampires. In Simon Wincer's 'Harlequin' (1980), Alex (Mark Spain), the young son of Nick (David Hemmings) and Sandra Rast (Carmen Duncan), is suffering from leukemia - and they will do anything to help him. When they come across a faith-healer, Gregory Wolfe (Robert Powell), Sandra is impressed. But Nick is soon to be running for senator, and his mentor Doc Wheelan (Broderick Crawford) doesn't approve of Wolfe. Wolfe then begins to behave in a most unexpected way..
