Fifty-seven days separated the assassinations of Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, the two Italian magistrates who became national heroes when they dared to challenge the all-pervasive influence of the Sicilian Mafia. Starring Luca Zingaretti in the title role, this uncompromising drama charts Borsellino's actions during those tense and dangerous 57 days in 1992 following his friend Falcone's death in a massive bomb blast. As he battles to expose the strategy behind the killing, not only must Borsellino come to terms with his life and his loved ones, but he must also confront his inevitable doom as he faces up to a powerful and deadly force. But, for Borsellino, it is a fight he cannot abandon - and it's a fight that will signal the beginning of the end for the 'Cosa Nostra'.
