In this action thriller set in the rain forests of central America, an international company plan to steal from nature to make room for a holiday paradise. High-tech defoliants, thought to be eco-friendly, are sprayed for miles around the serene village of Ponce, targeted as the site of Stark Industries' soon-to-be-constructed "Byzantium - City of Tomorrow". Dr. Christine Du Maurier (Marina Sirtis) will do whatever is necessary to prevent the cataclysm she knows will follow the devastation of the rain forest. When a child is born with birth defects and a native labourer is mysteriously killed, only the tenacity of Mike Stark (William Forsythe) can hold together a billion dollar construction project bursting at the seams. - Actors:
